The 2022 Tennessee high school football season doesn’t kicks off next week, and DTC Sports is excited to announce coverage for the fourteenth consecutive season. Since 2009, DTC Sports has been bringing your action every week of the high school football regular season. For the 2022 season, DTC Sports will be back in action to provide live coverage of eleven games during the upcoming regular season. These games will air live on DTC3, online at, and via Facebook Live on DTC Communications’ Facebook page, each game night, with with replays of the LIVE games set for Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday nights at 7:00 p.m., and Wednesday afternoons at 1:00 p.m.

DTC Sports currently planned 2022 schedule is as follows:
• Sat. Aug. 20: Gordonsville at Smith Co.
• Fri. Aug. 26: Watertown at Gordonsville
• Thu. Sept. 1: Macon Co. at DeKalb Co.
• Fri. Sept. 9: Watertown at DeKalb Co.
• Fri. Sept. 16: Whites Creek at Watertown
• Fri. Sept. 23: DeKalb Co. at Cannon Co.
• Fri. Sept. 30: Grundy Co. at Cannon Co.
• Fri. Oct. 7: Trousdale Co. at Gordonsville
• Fri. Oct. 14: Community at Cannon Co.
• Fri. Oct. 21: Macon Co. at Smith Co.
• Fri. Oct. 28: East Nashville at Smith Co.

The high school football season doesn’t kick off for a few more months, but teams are going strong and taking advantage of the spring practice regulations. DeKalb County High School finished its spring practice time with a scrimmage against Shelbyville on Friday night in Smithville. DTC Sports was there to get an early look at the Tigers.
