The annual Best at the West Basketball Tournament was played recently at DeKalb West School in Liberty. Several area teams competed in a junior varsity division (5th and 6th grades) and two varsity divisions (7th and 8th grades). DTC Sports was on site for the consolation and championship games for each division. Each game will be broadcast in the coming days on DTC3.

The junior varsity girls and boys (5th and 6th grade) consolation and championship games will air on the following dates:

The 2022-23 High School Basketball season in Tennessee is officially underway! DTC Sports is set to go with its fourteenth season of basketball coverage on your local channel, DTC3. DTC Sports plans to feature 12 regular-season games throughout the 2022-23 season, with postseason tournament action to follow regular-season coverage. All games will be filmed on the nights they are played and will be replayed in the following days.

This week, a region crown is on the line when the Smith County Owls host the East Nashville Eagles in a battle of Class 3A top ten teams this Friday night in Carthage. DTC Sports will have live coverage from Owl Stadium, beginning with pregame at 6:45 PM with kickoff at 7:00 PM. The 2022 DTC Communications Annual Meeting was held on Saturday, September 17, at the DeKalb County Fairgrounds in Alexandria, TN. Members of the cooperative stopped by the event to cast ballots in the Director Election.  If you were unable to attend this year’s meeting, we certainly missed you, but you can view the meeting on DTC3 on the following days:
