Students at Cannon South Elementary School in Cannon County have ben busy recently, as the 2022-2023 school year winds down. On Wednesday, May 17th, students participated in an “Egg Drop,” where special containers are constructed with the purpose of protecting an egg from a 40-foot drop from a DTC Communications bucket truck. The students havebeen studying Newton’s Laws of Motion, and constructed their containers based upon those laws. The Egg Drop will air in the coming days on the local channel on the following dates:

• Thursday May 25 – 7:00 PM
• Tuesday May 30 – 1:00 PM
• Friday June 2 – 8:30 PM
• Monday June 5 – 7:00 PM
