2019 DeKalb County High School Football Preview

Tom Duggin of DTC Sports discusses the upcoming 2019 high school football season with DeKalb County head football coach, Steve Trapp.

Coming off back-to-back 3-8 seasons, with first-round playoff losses in each, the DeKalb County Tigers are hungry to achieve a great level of success in 2019, with 17 starters back. Junior QB Axel Aldino will be working behind a strong, veteran offensive line, led by four-year starter and Tennessee Tech commit, Isaac Cross. Senior RB David Bradford, a punishing 225-pound runner, gives the run game a strong presence, and Aldino will have multiple weapons to throw to on Friday nights. With a promising offense and what should be a stout, improved defense, the Tigers are ready to make some noise in Region 3-4A this season.
