Estel Parker wins DTC Pick-It Bowl Challenge

With all 42 college football bowl and playoff games now in the books, Estel Parker of Woodbury has won the 2017 DTC Pick-It Bowl Challenge. Parker picked 30 winners in the 42 bowl/playoff games, for a total of 331 points. Parker won by a 17-point margin over Mark Dillon, who finished in second place with 314 points. Dillon correctly picked 28 of the 41 bowl/playoff winners.

Leigh Fuson finished in third place with 307 points and 28 correct picks, while Logan Bryan and Cindy Betts finished in fourth and fifth place respectively, with 299 and 298 points.

DeKalb-Smith games to air this week on DTC3

On Friday night, January 13, Terry Collins and Randy Jennings were in Carthage, as the Smith County Owls & Lady Owls hosted DeKalb County in a pair of District 8-AA clashes. Those games will air this week on DTC3. The games will air on the following days:

Tuesday, January 17 - 7:00 p.m.
Wednesday, January 18 - 1:00 p.m.
Thursday, January 19 - 7:00 p.m.
Saturday, January 21 - 7:00 p.m.

New episodes of Saluting America airing this month on DTC3

DTC3's highly popular Saluting America continues this month with several brand new episodes. Saluting America host, Nick Nokes, will go one-on-one with each guest, giving a behind-the-scenes look at their services to our area communities.

The latest episode features Sergeant Trooper Mark Jones of the Tennessee Highway Patrol, which will continue to air in the coming days. Air dates for that episode are as follows:

Wednesday, January 11 - 8:00 p.m.
Saturday, January 14 - 4:30 p.m.
Sunday, January 15 - 4:30 p.m.
