It was a big day for four area Middle Tennessee counties on Tuesday, July 25. Tennessee Titans QB Marcus Mariota made stops in White, DeKalb, Warren and Cannon counties, as part of his partnership with St. Thomas Health Services. It was a great opportunity for the health group to discuss their partnership with the star QB, while giving Mariota an opportunity to talk about his foundation, the Motiv8 Foundation.
Grammy Award-winning country music star John Berry is launching his own national television show this summer. "Songs And Stories" will debut on DTC3 on Monday, July 31, at 12:30 p.m. The 30-minute TV program was taped in May at Nashville's historic Douglas Corner, the same venue where Berry originally showcased to receive his first major record deal.
From the Music & Spoken Word series, the Mormon Tabernacle Choir presents, "A Musical Tribute to Rodgers and Hammerstein," a 30-minute special spotlighting some of the legendary songwriting duo's greatest works. Hosted by Oscar "Andy" Hammerstein III, this special showcases a heartfelt message of family, stories, hard work and optimism, presented with tribute performances of Rodgers and Hammerstein classics by the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, along with soloist, Daily Vail Bayles.
